Gearing Up, Practicing, Packing Up for Section Hike of Superior Hiking Trail

Posted on June 16, 2018November 26, 2018

I found videos like this one super helpful and thought I’d add to the library. In this video I will talk about:

  • How I researched backpacking and going on a section hike
  • My tent – I’ll show my pitch and talk about seam sealing
  • I will talk about bear bags a bit
  • I’ll show you all of the food I took on the hike
  • I’ll talk a bit about how i trained and practiced with my gear
  • I’ll show you each of the things that went into my pack and how i packed it.

Because I’m made this video after I made the clips, I’m inserted a bit of commentary on the gear or my thoughts. There is a slightly more comprehensive gear review video here.
